Courses include women only skills days, family skills days, guided tours for all abilities, as well as corporate building days, taster sessions for schools and youth clubs and much, much more.

Leeds Bike Week 2008 supports Mountain Bike Training Days |

Leeds City Council, as part of National Bike Week 2008, is promoting
Mountain Bike Training Courses at Chevin Forest Park near Otley. The
courses will focus on technical off-road riding skills as well as how to
ride responsibly and where to ride legally. Qualified Mountain Bike
coach, Iain Johnson, of Cycle Yorkshire will lead the two days:- the first
being a Beginners Course on Saturday 14 June at Chevin Forest Park; and
the second day on Saturday 21 June being an Intermediate Course for more
experienced riders at Chevin Forest Park in the morning with an afternoon
at the nearby Stainburn Forest where there are more challenging
singletrack trails.
Roger Brookes, Countryside & Access Development Officer for Leeds City
Council will also be on hand to answer any questions about Rights of Way
and Countryside Access issues in general. The cost of these special
courses will be just £15 per rider per day with the Bike Week subsidy but
places are strictly limited to 6 per day so you need to book early via

AMSTERSLAM 12th-15th July. York to Amsterdam and back. 250+ miles with 30 novice Cyclist`s raising money for Jessie`s Fund.
